Welcome, I am Blake Kassel and I am the creator of Bodylastics, discount exercise equipment. Eight years ago we set out to develop the best discount exercise equipment on the market. This can only be done with multiple levels of resistance (tension). You see, each of your muscle groups is a different size and a different strength. Why is it so important to challenge you muscles? Well, when you challenge a muscle (place it under new stresses) with resistance it will be forced to adapt and eventually change. This is the theory of adaptation. But it makes sense. If you need proof of this simply look at people in certain labor intensive professions. Have you ever seen a skinny steel worker? No? Me either. That's because they are lifting heavy amounts of weight daily and their bodies have adapted.

Is Bodylastics discount exercise equipment effective? Big time! When we decided to develop a resistance training system we looked for the best and smoothest type of resistance. Our research kept on leading is back to elastic resistance. Elastic resistance does not require pulleys, fly wheels or cams (like most of the best exercise machines do). Instead it creates resistance as you stretch it. There was one problem however, elastic tubing was only being designed and sold with 1 level of resistance. So, to the drawing board we went - and after 1 year of different designs and prototypes - we decided on the system which is highlighted on this site. Our unique system was launched in 1998. 2. Versatile - What do I mean by versatile. Well, in order for discount exercise equipment to be able to work all of the muscle groups it needs to be adjustable.
